I was sorry to hear about the passing of Roberta. At one time, Leland and Roberta North were neighbors to my dad and mom, Ordell and Jean Birkenholtz on highway 14 between Newton and Monroe. I pray for comfort for her family during this time of sorrow.

To Mom Berts Family-- Our heart felt sympathy!!

We cant begin to say how wonderful this lady was to our boys as they attended ISU from 1985 -93 (two sons) in Theta Delta Chi Frat house. She was like a Mom to all the boys there --about 44 of them at the time--always guiding them and teaching them to be the best of young men and professionals. One of our sons had a really difficult personal situation and it was Mom who was there for him when we couldn't be and we will never forget that.
She has left a legacy of respect and love from her "boys" for sure-- such a great human being!! She was the BEST and I know she is smiling down on all of us now. God Bless her and all of you-- you have an angel in your midst now and always!!

Love and Blessings to you all!
