Bill Donnelly, 74, passed away on Friday, November 16, 2012.

Bill was born on February 1, 1938 in Oskaloosa to Helen and Harold Donnelly. He graduated from Oskaloosa High School and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He served as a mail carrier for 35 years for the United States Postal Service and in his retirement, was a driver for ADESA. Bill enjoyed going to Hawkeye games and was a Packers fan but he especially loved to watch his grandkids play sports. Bill also enjoyed square dancing and raising horses.

Bill is survived by his wife of 27 years, Nancy; children, Larry Moore, Shelley (Mark) Henry and Penny (Robey) Orewiler; grandchildren, Tyler Moore, Tyler Henry, Josh Henry, Savannah Orewiler, Madison Orewiler and Delaney Orewiler; brother, Mike Donnelly; sister, Trudy Snyder; aunt, Jane Hagan; and many other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, November 19, 2012 at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street with a vigil at 6 p.m. Mass will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Saint Anthony Catholic Church, 15 Indianola Road.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Bill.
