Ankeny

Michael Clements, 60, of Ankeny passed away at his home March 22, 2014.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 26th at Memorial Services of Iowa funeral home. A visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 25th, also at the funeral home.

Michael was born and raised in Des Moines and he graduated from Hoover High School in 1972. He served in the United States Navy for 6 years, and married Ronda Grandia in April of 1983. Together, they raised 2 sons, Joseph and Matthew.

Mike was a long time employee at NCR and Unysis until his retirement in 2013.

He was an avid Yankees fan,enjoyed spending time boating in Okoboji, IA and frequently traveling to Omaha to spend time with, and spoil his 2 granddaughters Allison and Emily.

Michael is survived by his wife Ronda, of Ankeny; Sons, Joseph (Lissa) of Omaha, and Matthew (Hannah) of Des Moines; granddaughters Allison and Emily; Mother Janice, of Des Moines; brothers, Jeff (Denise) of West Union and Scott of Des Moines; several nieces and nephews and many long time friends.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Richard Clements.
