YVES-JEAN WYSONG Obituary
Palmyra
A funeral mass for Jean Wysong, 63, who died Sunday, June 5, 2011 at home, will be held 10 a.m., Thursday, June 9 at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Carlisle. Burial with military rites will follow in the Palmyra Cemetery.
Jean is survived by his wife, Sandy; children, Chris (Lisa) and Brian (Wendy) Wysong of Des Moines and Cheri (Chris) Kollbaum of West Des Moines; mother, Yvonne Wysong of Indianola; five grandchildren, Clementine, Jeremiah, Keira, Kally and Caleb; and brother, Bernard Wysong of Des Moines.
Visitation will be held 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, June 8 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola where family will be present to greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. A rosary service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in his name for a memorial to be decided at a later date. On-line condolences may be made to www.overtonfunerals.com.

The family of Yves Jean Wysong:

Jean was a great co-worker and friend. Whenever a bunch of us were talking about things and Jean's name would come up someone would always say that he would do anything for anyone. He sure would! Jean had the heart the size of a locomotive! Jean... you will be missed... Rest in peace my friend.

Jean was a wonderful friend to many. Although he will be missed here by many family and friends, Heaven is all aglow at the arrival of another dear loved one. Rest in Peace my good friend, you have rightfully, and gracefully, earned your wings.
