Marjorie, 83, passed away March 9 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, at Brooks Funeral Care, 7975 University Blvd. in Clive. Her funeral will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, at Immanuel United Methodist Church, 2900 49th Street in Des Moines.

Marjorie Ann, the daughter of Anton and Ella (Storie) Mukomela, was born June 9, 1930 in Langdon, North Dakota. She was a terrific pastor's wife, assisting Robert in the various locations he served. Marjorie enjoyed gardening and baking. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Barbara Theige, and her brother, Art Mukomela.

Marjorie is remembered by her husband, Robert; her children: Roberta (Jeffrey) Schmidt, David (Rose) Logan and Jeffrey (Kim) Logan; eight grandchildren; her siblings: Lois (Eldon) Nolte, Shirley Lazarz, Kenneth (Gwen) Mukomela, Robert (Kay) Mukomela, and Cheryl Ballweg; and many other friends and relatives.

Memorial contributions may be given to Immanuel United Methodist Church.
