James Brian Wall, 60, was born May 19, 1953, in Des Moines, the son of Fred and Mary (Bowman) Wall. He passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2014 unexpectedly of natural causes at Unity Point Health Des Moines Methodist.
Brian enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He loved his dogs, Penelope and Rosalie. Brian was an avid Yankees and Hawkeye fan and volunteered for 20 years as a basketball coach for The Salvation Army and Southeast Polk. Brian was a food sales representative for US Foods, Midwest Foods and most recently for Cashways.
Brian is survived by son, Joseph; daughters, Ashley (Patrick) Frink, Breanne (Loren) Gonzalez, and Allison Wall; grandchildren, Zoey Wall, Calleah and Ryder Frink, Braylee, Breahna and Benjamin Gonzalez; mother, Mary Wall; sisters, Jackie Roberts and Lynn Wall; brother, Richard Wall; beloved dogs, Penelope and Rosalie; and a host of other family and beloved friends. Brian was preceded by his father, Fred; grandson, Loren Gonzalez Jr.; and beloved dog, Babe.
Funeral services will be held at 6:00 pm on Friday, April 25, 2014 at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, in Des Moines. The family will greet friends Friday evening from 5:00 to 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
