John Nicolino

John Nicolino, 92, passed away Friday, April 25, 2014 at HCI Care Services 56th.

John was born October 27, 1921 in Des Moines to Joseph and Rosina Nicolino. He served in the United States Army during WWII. John sold insurance for many years. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service.

John is survived by his children, Joseph (Shirley) Nicolino, Rosina (Alan) Jones, John P. (Janet) Nicolino, Mary Anne (Raymond) Waddell, Vincent (Carrie) Nicolino and Catherine (Dirk) Newton; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street with the Rosary recited 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 15 Indianola Avenue followed by burial at Glendale Cemetery.
