Priscilla (Porsia) (Fasano) Grasso, 94 passed away from this life on July 10, 2014. A mass of Christian burial will be held Monday, July 14, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of America's Church, E. 9th & Garfield in Des Moines. Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, July 13, 2014 at Grandview Chapel, E. 33rd & Hubbell Ave. Family will greet from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a rosary following.

Priscilla was born on February 4, 1920 to Frank and Margaret (Capezzi) Fasano in Pittsburgh, PA. Priscilla was married to the love of her life, Anthony M. Grasso on September 25th, 1938, to which four children were born. Priscilla worked for Iowa State Bank, Capitol City Bank, and retired from John Hancock Life Insurance. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards and being with her family.

Priscilla is survived by her children, Leonard (Mary) Grasso, Frances Brownell, Marilyn (Bill) Carter, sister Antonette Powers, daughter-in-law Deb Grasso, 14 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Anthony M. Grasso, son Dr. Anthony J. Grasso, sisters Rose DePhillips and Angie Boll, brothers Joe Fasano, Joe Vitiritto Sr., Mike Vitiritto, Rocco Vitiritto, James Vitiritto and granddaughter Teresa Nealley.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
