Johnston

Ronald Anthony, 65, went to his eternal home on Monday, August 11, 2014 at the Mercy Hospice Home in Johnston.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 14th from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Johnston Evangelical Free Church located at 9901 NW 62nd Ave. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday at 11 am, also at the church. A private committal will be held at the Lincoln Cemetery in Johnston.

Ron is survived by his wife, Sue; son, Todd (Julie) of Johnston; daughter Erika (Ryan) Boone of Sioux Center, Iowa; and 7 grandchildren, Taylor, Tommy, Trevor and T.J. Anthony; Parker, Carson, Sophia Boone; as well as 3 step-grandsons, Logan, Dawson, and Braden Peppenger; a sister, Pat (Bob) Friesen of Johnston.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Mercy Hospice, Johnston; or the Wounded Warrior Fund. Messages of condolence may be left for the family at www.MerleHayFuneralHome.com.
