Maxine Beck

Maxine Beck, 82, went peacefully to be with God Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Fleur Heights Nursing Home, in the care of hospice. Maxine was born January 13, 1932 in Ottumwa, Iowa. She will be missed greatly by her family and friends.
She was met in Heaven by her husband, Jack Beck; parents, Tennyson and Oletha Mills; and sister, Eleanor.
Maxine is survived by her children, Darlene (Harold) Vasey of Des Moines, Karen (Kirk) Hubbard of West Des Moines, and John (Michelle) Beck of Norwalk; her grandchildren, Jessica, Jacob, Arlene, Luke, and Morgan and their significant others; sister, Mary; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 27 at Capitol Hill Christian Church, 3322 E 25th Street, Des Moines, with burial at Glendale Cemetery.
A special thank you to the care givers at Fleur Heights Care Center. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
