John Steinert Strauss, MD., 88,Professor Emeritus, University of Iowa College of Medicine, died peacefully at UIHC on Monday, July 28, 2014
Friends and colleagues are invited to a special time of remembrance Sunday, September 28th from 3 to 5 pm at Brown Deer Golf Club in Coralville. Remarks will be made at 3:30pm. Dr. Strauss died peacefully July 28th at UIHC.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in care of University of Iowa Foundation, PO Box 4550, Iowa City, Iowa 52245-4550, for Hancher Auditorium or the Department of Dermatology at the University of Iowa College of Medicine.
Dr. Strauss is survived by his wife of 63 years, Susan Thalheimer Strauss and by his two daughters, Joan Strauss and Mary Strauss-Penka (Gerald), all of Boston.
