Dwayne was a classmate with me at MacArthur High School. Tonight, we are having our 40th Class Reunion. During our celebration, we will be including Dwayne in a time of remembrance for our classmates who have passed since our high school years. To Dwayne's family and friends ... As we mention Dwayne's name aloud tonight at our reunion, please know that our thoughts are with you. As you continue life on earth without Dwayne, may you have the hope and assurance that, someday, you will experience a more glorious reunion with Dwayne in a time and place beyond this life.

Dwayne was great to work with, and a great person to call a friend. He was an asset to any company he worked for. I had the honor to work with him at Williamson-Dickie. I also had the priviledge to worship with him at Southside. His friendship will definitely be missed.

Dwayne is one of those guys that I grew up with but have since lost touch. Reading kind words posted by his friends brings back memories of time I spent with him, now more than 30 years past. It saddens me that we did not somehow reconnect to recall a few of the good times we shared. He certainly had one of the best laughs ever and the picture in his obituary looks so much the same as he did back in our high school days. I am grateful to Buddy C. for letting us know about "Riley" moving on to his new journey.
