Koch, Richard - Granbury  
Richard Koch, 71, passed away Monday, Jan. 26, 2015, in Granbury. Memorial service: Will be held at a later date. Richard was born April 18, 1943, in St. Louis, Mo. He was raised in Elk City, Okla., and was a proud graduate of Oklahoma State University. He was a partner in the accounting firm PSK LLP, for 30 years, retiring in 2005. Richard was a blessed member of the Triple Cross Cowboy Church. He never met or owned a hotrod he didn't love. If it had a big engine and a good paint job, it was important. He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Russell M. Koch; and mother, Helen Koch. Survivors: Wife, Suzi Koch; sister, Saundra and brother-in-law, John Vincent; niece, Dr. Nicole Davis and husband, Dr. Teran Davis; niece, Tracy Weese and husband, Tadd; niece, Laura Broach and husband, Kyle Broach.

Langley, John Robert - Hurst  
John Robert Langley, 86, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015. Memorial service: 3 p.m. Friday at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel. Inurnment will take place at a later date. John was born Jan. 5, 1929, in Pilot Point to John and Florence "Willis" Langley. He was proud to be a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Formerly a Fort Worth motorcycle officer, he retired from the Tarrant County Sheriff's Department as a confinement officer. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers baseball fan. He liked to fish and spend time with his family. He especially liked going to breakfast on Sunday with Brenda and brother Bill. He and Brenda attended Oasis Church in Saginaw. The family wishes to thank the staff of Sunrise Healthcare, especially Cindy and Margaret, best friends, Tolly and Wanda Pope and Brother Randy. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Edna; son, Brent Langley; and stepson, James Clark. Survivors: Wife, Brenda Clark; son, Keith Langley; stepson, Brian Clark; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Tom Langley (Barbara) and Vernon Langley (Alice); as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

McDonald, Chris - Arlington  
Chris McDonald, 62, lost his fight to lung cancer Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015. Memorial service: 2 p.m. Saturday at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 N. Davis Drive, Arlington, followed by a reception at Rolling Hills Country Club, 401 E. Lamar Blvd., Arlington. Visitation: 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Chris was born in Boston, Mass., and had made Texas his home for over 30 years while working at American Airlines. Chris loved his Red Sox and Patriots and was an avid golfer. Survivors: Wife of 12 1/2 years, Dez; son, James; sister, Mimi; stepson, Kostas; and their extended families.

Petra Sanchez Placencia, 90, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015. Petra was born June 29, 1924, and had lived in Fort Worth since 1955. Petra was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, who will be dearly missed. Survivors: Daughter, Maria and Kevin Perotti; sons, Esiquio and Cecilia Placencia, Daniel Placencia, Esmael Placencia, Tom Sheshene and Jesse Placencia; sister, Lois Rios; brother, Silverio Lee Sanchez; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
