Gray, Floyd Alva - Fort Worth  
Floyd Alva Gray, 80, passed away Monday, Aug. 31, 2015. Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Greenwood Chapel. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Greenwood. Al was born Feb. 18, 1935, in Roxton to Floyd Sr. and Effie Gray. His family moved to River Oaks in 1950. He graduated from Northside High School in 1953 and attended the University of North Texas on a basketball and track scholarship. He met the love of his life, Betty Saunders, and they married in 1955. They were never apart. Al had a great love for exploring the history of River Oaks and Fort Worth. He was a self-employed family man. His family was most important to him. Al and his family were members of Trinity Baptist Church in River Oaks for 60 years, where he served as treasurer for many years. Heaven has truly gained one of God's most precious. He was preceded in death by his father, mother and stepfather. Survivors: Wife of 59 years, Betty Gray; son, Tracy Gray and wife, Patricia; daughter, Terise Phillips and husband, Toby; grandchildren, Katie and Heidi Phillips, Tiffany Thornton and husband, Casey, Taylor Gray, Tracy and Alyssa Gray; three great-grandchildren; and sister, Carolyn and her husband, Murray.

Hamilton, Etwoile "Tweedle" - Westlake  
Etwoile "Tweedle" Hamilton, 72, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2015. Service: 10 a.m. Friday at Keller Church of Christ, with visitation at 9:30 a.m. Interment: 1 p.m. Saturday in Resthaven Cemetery in Quitaque. Tweedle was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, a faithful Christian and friend to many. She will be missed by all. Survivors: Husband, Verlon; daughter, Vickie; son, Sam and his wife, Laurie; and grandchildren, Riley and Jack.

Hanson, Loren Que - Fort Worth  
Loren Que Hanson passed away peacefully Friday evening, Aug. 28, 2015, during his 85th year. Service: A celebration of Loren's life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 4, in the sanctuary of First United Methodist Church of Fort Worth, 800 W. Fifth St. The Rev. Dr. Lamar Smith and the Rev. Dr. William M. Longsworth will officiate. Family and friends will gather immediately afterwards in the church's Wesley Hall. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, consideration of contributions to a charity of choice, in his memory, is suggested.

Charles Bernard Hinkle, 64, passed away Saturday, Aug. 29, 2015, in Dallas. Graveside service: 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Lane C. Visitation: 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, prior to the service, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Memorials: Memorial gifts may be made in memory of Charlie Hinkle to American Legion Auxiliary Unit 60, Cancer Aid and Research, 601 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, Texas 76010. Charles was born April 28, 1951, in Caretta, W.Va., to Othniel Hinkle and Dorothy Coleman Hinkle. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He worked as a machinist for Bescast in Willoughby, Ohio. Charles was a member of VFW #6911, American Legion #624 and Elks Lodge #2114. He was preceded in death by his son, Charles B. Hinkle Jr.; and two brothers, Jack D. Hinkle and Jeffrey L. Hinkle. Survivors: Wife, Nancy A. Siebold Hinkle; daughters, Jamie M. Abordonado, Kristina M. Struna and Rebecca J. Madda; and brothers, Michael S. Hinkle and Ronald F. Hinkle.

Johnson, Troy "Nub" - Fort Worth  
Troy "Nub" Johnson, 91, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2015, surrounded by family. Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, at St. John Church Unleashed, 1701 W. Jefferson, Grand Prairie, Pastor Denny Davis officiating. Viewing: 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Saturday at the church. He retired from General Motors after 25 years of employment. Survivors: Sisters, Barbara Pouncy (Grant Sr.), Loyce Johnson-Colbert, Mary Smith-Ray (James); four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Box 781, Weatherford, Texas 76086-0781; or the Jerry Alexander Fund at Aledo Vet Clinic, 5188 E. Interstate 20 Service Rd. S., Willow Park, Texas 76008. Kitty was born July 19, 1926, in Frankfurt, Germany. She and her husband, Hermann, were longtime Fort Worth residents and managed the Green Oaks Inn through the 1990s. Everyone who knew Kitty, and her famous German accent, will miss her beautiful smile and feisty personality. Survivors: Kitty leaves behind her two daughters, Patty and Susan and their husbands, Roger Williams and Greg Davis; grandchildren, Laura, Sabrina, Jaclyn, Katie (Brad), Mychal (Desi), and Brian; great-grandchildren, Hannah, Olivia and Hunter; and many friends who were like family, including Heidi and Mike Russell.
