Alfred E. Davila, 89, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2013. Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Alfred was born May 29, 1924, in Aspermont to Elvira and Manuel G. Davila Sr. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II
. He had been a resident of Fort Worth since 1967 and was retired from McQuerry Trailer Company. Alfred was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Romana; sons, Alfred Davila Jr. and John Davila; daughter, Vicky Ordoyne; and his parents. Survivors: Children, Rita Gomez, Elvira Rivera, Tomas Davila and wife, Mary, George Davila and wife, Melody, and Benito Davila; daughter-in-law, Mary John Davila; 29 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; two brothers; five sisters; and numerous other relatives and friends.
