in Ava's memory. Ava was born June 15, 1940, in Woodville. She was the daughter of Carl and Garland Hignett of Claude. She was an active member of Gateway Church in Southlake. She was dedicated to her faith and had many friends through the church. She was part of the women's mentoring team and prayer shawl ministry. She loved to crochet, sew, and many other crafts. She loved to sing and was part of the church choir in previous years at Bedford United Methodist. In her spare time, she enjoyed working in the yard and planting flowers. She loved to travel to visit her family and was able to see Japan, Switzerland and other beautiful places. She retired from American Eagle Airlines in 2004. She was preceded in death by her parents and one granddaughter. Survivors: Her husband, LeRoy Masters; children, Carl and Brigitte Jackson, Renee' and Larry Roachelle, Susan Jackson, Daren and Mary Masters, Dalen Masters, and Shannon Masters; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and sister, Carole Ann Parr and family, including her husband, Larry Parr, and niece and nephew.
