Belen Hipolito de Cantu passed away peacefully on Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013, at the age of 89, in Fort Worth. She was our beloved lady who shared her faith and unconditional love with all who would happen to cross her path. We were very blessed to have her in our lives. Memorial service: 9:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 3, at St. Rita Catholic Church in Fort Worth. She will be laid to rest the next day in her beloved town of Acuna, Mexico. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Pedro Cantu Faz; beloved son, Arnoldo Cantu; brothers; and a sister. Her sister Maria joined her in heaven a week later. Survivors: Brother, Felix Hipolito; daughter, Alma Leticia and her husband, Antonio Lopez; grandchildren, Monica Aurora and husband, Manuel Rodelo, Cynthia Belem and husband, Ben Shorney, Cesar A. Lopez and Mark F. Lopez; great-grandchildren, Vivian Rodelo, Maddie and Nolan Shorney; Dr. Eliseo y Lupita Rdz.; nephews and nieces; and many cherished friends.
