Clarence Raymond Brown, 81, of Fort Worth passed away Monday, Oct. 28, 2013 at his home. Service: 12:30 p.m Saturday in Laurel Land Chapel of Chimes. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Laurel Land Funeral Home of Fort Worth. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Red Cross. Ray was born April 4, 1932, in Corpus Christi. He was the youngest of three children. He married the love of his life, Luella, in Sioux City, Iowa, in 1957. They had three children. Ray served in the Air Force for four years. A veteran of Korean War
, he earned the Korean Service Medal, U.N. Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. He was a longtime resident of Fort Worth and was employed by the Dallas Naval Air Station as captain of the fire department for 29 years. Ray enjoyed his family, fishing, hunting and traveling. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Luella. Survivors: Ray will be remembered by his sons, Kent, David and Ronnie; daughters-in-law, Ernestina and Suzanne; grandchildren, Jennifer, Ryan, James, Justin, Kyle, Rachael, Kasi, Joshua and Kayla; and eight great-grandchildren.
