C.R. "Doc" Eason(1924 - 2013)

C.R. "Doc" Eason, 88, of Alvarado passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2013. Service: 10 a.m. Friday at Clayton Kay-Vaughan Funeral Home. Graveside service: will be private. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Doc was born July 2, 1924, in Sardis, Tenn. He served in the U.S. Army in World War II and was a life member of both American Legion Post 426 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9299. Doc loved to hunt, fish and country and western dance. He was ranked second in Oklahoma Skeet Shooting. He was preceded in death by his mother, Opal Eason; Aunt Gertrude; and Uncle Roy Moore. Survivors: His sons, Hoppy and Rusty Eason; daughter, Gina Clark; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews; and an abundance of friends.
