David Clinton Meadows, 52, was received into the hands of God, Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013, at an Arlington hospital surrounded by his loving family. Celebration of life: 2 p.m. Monday at Creekwood Church, 260 N. Miller Road, Mansfield. David was born Nov. 16, 1961, in Arlington and graduated from Sam Houston High School in 1980. He was currently employed as a drivematic operator for Triumph and worked as a supervisor for 12 of the 29 years he dedicated to his job. He was also a member of the Elks Lodge
2114 in Arlington. David loved photography and was an avid bird watcher. His admiration for Purple Martins led to an article and his photos being published in the Purple Martin Magazine. He could also be found around Mansfield taking photos at local events and the shows at the Farr Best Theater, which he and his wife, Rhonda, operated. David was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Charlene Meadows, and sister, Nancy Jane Meadows. Survivors: He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Rhonda Meadows; sons, Nathan Meadows and his fiancee, Michelle Smith, who David referred to as the daughter he never had, Michael and Matthew Meadows, all of Arlington; grandson, Wyatt Meadows of Arlington; sister, Janice Meadows of Tomball and her children, Weston and Clinton Wylie and Mandy Stebbins; niece, Joy Ivy; numerous other nieces, nephews and extended family; and a host of many friends.
