Donald Edward Frazier, 73, passed away at his home on Monday, Jan. 13, 2014. Beloved husband, father and Grandpa Don, he blessed our lives with smiles, love, words and generosity. Memorial service: 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, at the First Baptist Church in Bedford. Visitation will follow the service at the church. The Rev. Fredric Utz will officiate. Donald was born Aug. 18, 1940, in Big Spring to the late John William and Opal Hicks Frazier. Donald attended schools in Frederick, Okla., where he graduated in 1959. Don was a cross-country truck driver for many years. He drove for Teamsters #961 and #959 and the Alaskan Pipeline. Don enjoyed fishing, especially with his longtime friend Kenneth Alexander in Marlow, Okla. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Charlotte Klenk; and nephew, Paul Wayne Frazier. Survivors: Left with precious memories, his loving wife of the home, Lala Joan Headrick Frazier; son, Joe Don of Joplin, Mo.; daughter, Diana Frazier Payer and husband, Michael, of Dallas; son, Johnny Lee Frazier of Burleson; son, Michael Frazier of Burleson; sisters, Phyllis Spencer and husband, Madison, of Archer City and Jeannie Thompson of Beggs, Okla.; sister-in-law, Barbara Hammond and husband, David, of Hurst; grandchildren, Preston, Michael, Kathleen Frazier, Anna Payer, Brandon Frazier, Lacee Sifuentes, Wendy Cabrera and Dustin Frazier; and numerous great-grandchildren.
