Frank W. Reynolds joined his beloved wife, Corky, in their eternal home Friday, Jan. 3, 2014. Memorial service: Pending at First Presbyterian Church at a date and time to be determined. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Grand Prairie Food Co-op, which was one of Frank's favorite charitable organizations. Frank was born in Coleta, Ill., Aug. 28, 1923, to Howard and Rachel Reynolds. He was a World War II
veteran serving in the European theater; unfortunately, his stories will go with him. He was a longtime, happy member of First Presbyterian Church in Grand Prairie. Frank was one of the founding members of the North Texas Mustang Club in 1982. He had a passion for automobiles that knew no equal. The Mustang and Shelby enthusiast community was his second family and brought his first family closer together. Frank had been tinkering since his dad's Model A. We guess he was a Ford man from the very beginning. Frank's family sends a huge shout out to his Mustang and Shelby friends and loved ones. Frank worked at ARA manufacturing in Grand Prairie until his happy retirement afforded him more time to restore the automobiles he loved. Frank was preceded in death by the love of his life, Corky. Frank was a wonderful husband to Corky; father to Jackie and Gary; grandfather to Mindy, Chris and Joshua; and great- grandfather to Tyler, Colby, Allie Ann, Riley, Diesel and Rush. He will be missed.
