Gerald Graves "Jere" Craddock, 79, passed away Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014. Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, with Pastor Ken Kilinski and the Rev. Linden Damschroder officiating. Interment: 1:30 p.m. in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas, Lane C. or 888-949-2577. Jere was born Aug. 10, 1934, in Martin, Tenn., to Reuben Graves Craddock and Virginia Hardison Craddock. He served in the U.S. Navy
and the Navy Active Reserve. He had resided in Arlington for the past 45 years. He retired as an aerospace engineer from LTV and Lockheed Martin. He was a longtime member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Jere was proud of his family, having been a naval aviator, and his six patents for weapons research. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and golf. Survivors: Wife, Carole T. Craddock; sons, Gerald "Gary" Graves Craddock Jr. and wife, Cathy, Col. Dr. Michael Raymond Craddock and wife, Ulli, and Kevin Hoshall Craddock and wife, Stephanie; grandchildren, Christopher, Raymond, Jessica, Thomas, Payne and Wesley; and his beloved dog, Schotzy.
