Howard G. Johnson, 90, retired chief warrant officer 4, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013. Graveside service: 11 a.m. Tuesday in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 9 a.m. to service time Tuesday inside the funeral home. Howard served in both the U.S. Navy
and the U.S. Air Force
. He was a veteran of World War II
, Korean War
and Vietnam War. He retired from the military after seven years with the Navy and 23-plus years with the Air Force. Howard loved spending time with his lovely wife, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also enjoyed traveling and his beloved Green Bay Packers. Howard was preceded in death by his parents; wife's parents; two brothers; one sister-in-law; one son; two stepsons; and one daughter-in-law. Survivors: Wife of 44 years, Wanda Johnson; daughters, Sheryl McGee and husband, Danny, Cecile Stone and husband, Frank, and Tana Williams and husband, Dan; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; sister-in-law, Mary Ruth Johnson; and numerous other family and friends.
