James A. King, 86, passed away peacefully Friday morning, Sept. 27, 2013. Service: 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, with full military honors. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Davis Funeral Chapel. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the
. James was born on May 13, 1927, in New York City. During the war, he served in the Army
in Euripan location, and was discharged from the Army on September 1946. He came home to the love of his life, Virginia Bosser, and they were married in January 1947 and remained happily married for 67 years. He was preceded in death by granddaughter, Theresa McCormack, in 2001. Survivors: Wife, Virginia King of North Richland Hills; sons, James King and wife, Mary Ann, of Pennsylvania, John King and wife, Catharina, of Keller, Joseph King of North Richland Hills; three granddaughters; three grandsons.
