James Robert Henderson, 63, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013, in Fort Worth. Memorial service: 2 p.m. Saturday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, with the Rev. Judy Richmond officiating. James was born Jan. 3, 1950, in Charleston, W.Va., to Harry Lyn Henderson and Edna Mae Nutter Henderson. He was married Nov. 10, 1980, in New Delhi, India. James served in the U.S. Air Force
and was a Vietnam veteran. He graduated from West Virginia University with an electrical engineering degree. James owned and operated James Audio Electronics and was also affiliated with Howell Instruments as a project engineer in Fort Worth. He loved to remodel, sew, garden, read and write and listen to music --classical to rock. James had a brilliant mind and soul and was a special man and friend. Survivors: Wife, Sujata Henderson; daughter, Rachel Anne Searcey and husband, Dr. Brett Searcey; son, Michael James Henderson; granddaughter, Elizabeth Anne Searcey; and sisters, Betty Henderson Miller and Barbara Henderson Holmes.
