Jerry Paul Birdwell, 76, of Haltom City passed away on Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013, in Euless. Service: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Richland Hills Baptist Church. Entombment will immediately follow in Bluebonnet Hills Mausoleum. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Jerry was born on Oct. 25, 1936, in Hollis, Okla., to his parents, C.B. Birdwell and Doshia Birdwell. Jerry was the youngest of six children. He married Carroll Birdwell in Midland on Dec. 18, 1959. They had two children. He attended Oklahoma State University and was a longtime resident of North Richland Hills where he owned and operated Birdwell Heating and Air Conditioning. Jerry was a member of Richland Hills Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with his family. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, C.B. Birdwell and Doshia Mae Birdwell, and siblings, Gladys Abernathy, Willard Birdwell, Lynndon Birdwell and Harold Birdwell. Survivors: Jerry will be remembered by his loving wife, Carroll; their daughters, Dottie Schwope and husband, Howard, Dawn Hall and husband, Ray, all from the Fort Worth area; his grandchildren, Alyssa Grass, Jared Hall, Skyler Schwope, Kaitlyn Hall; sister, Mary Sunderland and husband, Neil; many nieces and nephews; and numerous other family and friends.
