Joe Lopez Jr., 86, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2014. Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Olivet. Joe was born March 22, 1928, in Fort Worth to Joe and Ramona Lopez. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard at the end of World War II
. He was an avid golfer, and played in the Pan American Golf Association for many years. He loved dancing, photography, fishing and traveling. Joe retired as an assembler with Bell Helicopter after 26 years of service. He enjoyed his work and his commitment to Bell. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and three brothers. Survivors: Daughter, Cynthia Kitisrivorapan and husband, Kaj; son, Vincent Lopez and wife, Kay; sisters, Mary L. Elkin and Cecilia Lopez; brothers, Adolph and Mike Lopez; granddaughters, Marsha Wolff, Sara DeBusk, Angela Lopez and Nina Kitisrivorapan; his special stray cat, Precious; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
