J.P. Donahue, 88, passed away Friday, Feb. 28, 2014. Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday, March 8, at Western Hills Church of Christ. Interment: 4:30 p.m. in Union Springs Cemetery in Corrigan. J.P. was a retired U.S. Navy
chief hospital corpsman, master diver. He was a former instructor for the U.S. Navy Deep Sea Diving Center, Washington Navy Yard, Washington, D.C., and a retired logistics engineer, Field Engineering and Services, Westinghouse Electric Corp. J.P. was a loving husband and father, a devoted member of Western Hills Church of Christ, and an avid singer, musician, golfer and fisherman. He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Donahue; and brothers, L.T., Radis and John Benton Jr. Donahue. Survivors: Son, Glynn Donahue; grandsons, Robert Donahue, Mark Donahue; brothers, J.C. Donahue, K.O. Donahue, Harold Donahue, Wayne Donahue and Raymond Donahue; sisters, Arillia Huff, Varnell Schaffner and Vanice Hogg.
