Katherine Elizabeth Morgan, 84, died on All Souls Day, Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013. Service: Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Thursday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Azle. Interment: She will be buried in Arlington National Cemetery. Visitation: 4 p.m. Wednesday at Thompson's Harveson & Cole Funeral Home, with a rosary to begin at 5:30 p.m. Memorials: Community Hospice of Texas, 6100 Western Place, Suite 105, Fort Worth, Texas 76107. Katherine was born May 29, 1929, daughter of the late Mary and Michael Jendrejcak Sr., in Unionville, Conn. She served in the United States Navy

, where she met and married U.S. Marine Corps
Capt. William I. Morgan Jr. in 1952; he preceded her in death Dec. 14, 1965. Katherine will be laid to rest with William in Arlington National Cemetery, where he is buried. Katherine was a devout Catholic and member of the Church of the Incarnation in Tampa, Fla., for over 40 years. After moving to Texas in 2005, she joined the parish of Holy Trinity Church in Azle. In a recent message, her grandson wrote, "Our lives were enriched because of the love Granny gave us. Her dedication and commitment to each of us was more than expected. Her passion was her family, living in her shadow is an honor to those that knew her best. She is the best in all of us and will live on in our hearts. Honor her life by living yours to the fullest." In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister. Survivors: Her sisters, Anne Robustelli and Agnes Duntz of Connecticut; her children, Sharon Wallace, Michael and Sean Morgan; grandchildren, Christopher Hudson, William Hudson and his wife, Lis, Jessica and Matthew Hudson, and Shaley and Ryan Morgan; great-grandchildren, Christopher Chandler and Zoe, Wyatt, Ryder and Gemma.
