Lesley A. "Les" Sloan

Lesley "Les" A. Sloan, 48, entered heaven on Monday, April 21, 2014, after a courageous battle with cancer. Memorial service: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 17, at Webb Baptist Church, Pastor Gary Flynt officiating. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, honor Lesley with a donation to the Webb Baptist Church building fund in his name. Lesley was the owner of Sloan Landscape Maintenance for many years, a graduate of Mansfield High School, received a B.A. of Business degree from the University of Texas at Arlington, was past Master of Webb Masonic Lodge 1454 and active in several landscape organizations. He grew up in Webb (Arlington) and was saved and baptized at Webb Baptist Church where he was a member. He enjoyed hunting and fishing for his time of recreation. He had a great love for his family, friends, and customers and will be missed by all. The gardens in heaven will be beautiful. Survivors: Parents, Gene "Jinx" and Mary Elizabeth "Liz" Sloan; brothers, Mike anf wife, Darla, of North Richland Hills, and Stephen and wife, Jennifer, of Waxahachie; two nephews, six nieces; and numerous loved ones, friends and customers.
