Linda "Nana" Williams Genzel, 62, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away Monday, Aug. 26, 2013. Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Linda was born Feb. 26, 1951, in Fort Worth to Louise and Sherman Williams. She was a graduate of Diamond Hill Jarvis High School in 1969 where she was a cheerleader. Linda retired from Southwestern Bell Yellow Pages after more than 20 years of service. She and Randy loved antique car shows and were members of the Wise County Antique Auto Club and Piston Heads Auto Club of Bowie. Nana was a wonderful hostess as she loved to cook for everyone. She was a devoted grandmother that enjoyed trips to the park, museum and shopping with her grandkids. Nana will be forever remembered for her sweet spirit, giving heart, classy style, and last but certainly not least, her beautiful smile. Survivors: Husband of almost 42 years, Randy Genzel; son, Shawn Genzel; daughters, Brandi Day and husband, William, Tenneil Davis and husband, Todd; grandchildren, Zachary, David, Kayla, Kooper, Logan, Zachary, Karsen and Waylon; brother, Charlie Williams and wife, Linda; and sweet family friend, Wilma Saunders.
