Lionicio G. Castillo(1932 - 2013)

Lionicio G. Castillo, 82, passed away peacefully at home Tuesday April 30, 2013, surrounded by his family. Funeral: 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Rosary: 6 p.m. Friday in Mount Olivet Funeral Home Chapel. Lionicio was born April 8, 1932, in Otto. He grew up in Marlin, where he met the love of his life, our mom. They were married 61 years. Lionicio retired from Lone Star Gas Co. in 1990 and from the Texas Army National Guard in 1991. Lionicio loved his family and took great pride in serving his country. He will be forever in our hearts. You did good, Dad. The Castillo family would like to thank Innovation House Calls, Lipet Home Care, Vitas Hospice and Plaza Medical Center Feet at Heart for the care they provided our dad. Special thanks to Jen, Gerald, Jerry, Greg and Sandra II. Lionicio was preceded in death by his loving wife, Aurelia; sons, L.G. Jr. and Nicho Castillo; great-grandson, Christopher Vasquez; brothers, Raymond Augustine, Pablo, Francisco, Mike and George Castillo; and sister, Theodora Garcia. Survivors: Daughter, Beatrice Anzaldera; sons, Nick (Gloria), Robert (Norma), Anthony (Sandra) and Billy (Alma); 18 loving grandchildren; 15 loving great-grandchildren; brothers, Guadalupe, Gabriel and Santos Castillo; sisters, Suzanna Gomez and Janie Greeson; special sister-in-law, San Juana Riojas; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
