Lowell Edward "Stub" Wilkerson, 89, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012. Memorial service: 11 a.m. Monday at Calvary Lutheran Church. Interment: Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Stub was born Dec. 27, 1922, in Notus, Idaho. He was a fighter pilot in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. Stub was a charter member of Calvary Lutheran Church and served as congregational president for a time. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn; and a brother, Rolland. Survivors: Sons, Gary Wilkerson and wife, Karen, and Eddie Wilkerson and wife, Valerie; grandchildren, Brook, Wendy, Chad, Cory, Reed and Aaron; 13 great-grandchildren; and brothers, Byron and George Wilkerson.
