, Inspirit, Box 383, Woodacre, Calif. 94973. This is an organization founded by Aneice Taylor, Mary Gayle's sister, which offers support for quadriplegics. Mary Gayle was born Sept. 11, 1936, in Fort Worth to Clyde and Mary Helen Russey. She graduated from Polytechnic High School in 1954 with honors. She married George Walker in 1955 and started a family. She attended the University of Texas
and graduated with a degree in sociology in 1961. She was a dedicated CPS social worker with more than 20 years of service. She was a longtime member of First Jefferson Unitarian Church. She was a wonderful and very caring person and friend, always available with a helping hand to those in need. Mary Gayle was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Debbie Vickers; and brother, Keith Russey. Survivors: Son, Van Walker and wife, Dawn; grandchildren, Nicholas and wife, Annie, Melissa and husband, CJ, Kelsey and Madison; great-grandchildren, Carly, Nathan, Marshall and Gracie; sister, Aneice Taylor; son-in-law, Dallace Vickers; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
