Michael Joseph Silvestri, 25, died tragically on his way to work Monday, May 13, 2013, in Arlington. Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Saturday at Peace Lutheran Church, 941 W. Bedford Euless Road, Hurst. Visitation: Friends and relatives are invited and may call 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Foust Funeral Home, 523 S. Main St., Grapevine. He was born a twin on April 8, 1988, in Danbury, Conn., and was raised in nearby New Fairfield until the age of 9. His family moved to Texas and currently resides in Colleyville. He attended The Oakridge School and matriculated into the University of Texas
at Arlington where he was conferred a B.A. in accounting in 2012. While in college, Michael was an active member of the Theta Kappa chapter of the Sigma Chi fraternity, where he served as vice president. He was pursuing becoming a CPA. Michael was passionate about sports, particularly golf and hockey, and enjoyed fantasy football with his friends. He will be remembered for his easygoing personality, his mischievous smile, his love of laughter, his infectious sense of humor and his larger-than-life personality. Most of all he will be remembered for his love of family. Survivors: He leaves his loving memories to be cherished by his parents, Mario and Pamela Silvestri; his siblings, older brother, Mario III, twin brother, Ryan, and younger sister, Kelly, of Colleyville; and his grandparents, Bill and Mary Ann Carlson of Fort Worth. He is also survived by 21 loving cousins and 14 aunts and uncles. He will also be fondly remembered by his many close friends.
