Box 279, Aledo, Texas 76008. Rebecca was born April 30, 1971, in Bryan. In her elementary years Fort Worth became her home. This was special for her because her grandparents lived close by. Spending time with them making memories is what made her cherish her childhood. Rebecca loved family and traditions. She graduated from Fort Worth Christian School in 1989. In 1993, she graduated from Texas A&M University
where she studied English, psychology and French. It was here that she met her husband, Devin James, of 19 years. They were married in August of 1993. They then built a life together with their four adoring children. Rebecca was dearly loved by all who knew her. She never encountered someone without them being touched and feeling special and important. She was a light for our Heavenly Father and endeared everyone with her smile and contagious laugh. Not one to sit and watch life pass her by, she lived it to the fullest and made everyday count for His kingdom. She was the center that everyone circled around. She loved to talk and share her love for Jesus. She lived her life making each moment count, loving with her whole heart, and was thankful and joyful in all circumstances. What a blessing and joy it was to be in Rebecca's life. No one knows this better than her husband, her children, and her family. She embraced every idea of being a Godly mother to her daughters and son and has gifted each of them with a legacy of faith and trust in God, who was her Provision. Though they will miss her beyond words, they know she is finally home with Jesus, rejoicing and dancing in His love! Survivors: Her husband, Devin James; children, Adaline, Emma, Libby and Walker James; her parents, Larry and Nancy Bannister; brother, Will Bannister and wife, Leslie; nephews, Bleu, Liam, Eli and Zeb Bannister; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and countless friends and prayer warriors.
