. Reid was born Dec. 21, 1928, in Oxford, Conn., to Frederick and Catherine Bice. He married Barbara Irene Jordan Bice on April 30, 1966. A retired Navy veteran with 20 years in the service, he and his wife settled in Fort Worth in 1975. They were longtime members of Trinity Episcopal Church. Reid was active in the Fleet Reserve Association for 20 years and a member of the Elks Lodge
Chapter 124. He and his wife were active members of Tarrant County Walkers. Reid served as its president and remained involved with the walks for many years. He enjoyed boating and fishing and owned the Minnow Bucket at Rocky Creek for a period of time. Reid was a fun-loving person whose cheerful smile and ready wit lightened everyone's life. He will be sorely missed. Survivors: Wife of 47 years, Barbara; sister, Phyllis Budris; grandson, Jeff Bice; great-grandson, Ethan Bice; and numerous family members and dear friends.
