Sarah B. Ethridge, 84, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013. Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday in Independence Chapel at Greenwood Mausoleum, 3100 White Settlement Road, Fort Worth. Entombment: Greenwood Mausoleum. Visitation: 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mission Arlington. Sarah was employed by General Motors Corp. in Arlington for 30 years. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Arlington for 32 years. After retirement, Sarah was an active volunteer for the city of Arlington for 15 years and an active member of the GM Retirees and the Arlington Women's Club. Sarah was loved and will be missed by many friends and family members. Survivors: Husband of 59 years, James L. Ethridge of Arlington; children, Sharon Besse of Findlay, Ohio, Walter Ethridge of Keller, Terri Staley of North Richland Hills, Jimmy Ethridge of Fort Worth and Susan Brown of Arlington; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
