Thomas O'Brien Finn Jr., 56, died Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013. Memorial service: 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, at Westside Unitarian Universalist Church, 901 Page Ave., Fort Worth. . Born in Fort Worth on Oct. 30, 1956, Tom graduated from R.L. Paschal High School. He earned a bachelor's degree in journalism and radio, television, film from the University of Texas
at Arlington. Tom enjoyed a 30-year career as a camera man and news editor at KTVT/CBS11. He was a lifelong enthusiast of books, music and camping, often sharing his vast knowledge with those around him. His magnetic personality attracted a huge and devoted following of friends who are heartbroken over his death. Tom displayed an incredible warmth and generosity of spirit that will not be forgotten. Survivors: His sister, Julie Finn; brother, James Finn; sister-in-law, Andrea Petty; niece and nephew, Colin and Chloe Finn; a large extended family; and many friends.
