Tomas Munoz, 85, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2013, surrounded by family. Service: Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick Cathedral. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Thompson's Harveson & Cole where a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Memorials:
. Tomas was born Dec. 21, 1927, in McNary. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II
and worked for Union Pacific Railroad for 45 years. A generous man, he supported St. Jude's and other child related charities. He enjoyed "fixing things," exercising, and buying a brand new car from time to time. His family extends special thanks to the staff of Heritage Hospice, especially his caregivers, Judy and Regina. Tomas was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Francisca Ruiz Munoz; and brothers, Genaro, Jesus and Fidel Munoz. Survivors: His brothers, Roberto Munoz, Gilberto Munoz and his wife, Laurie; sister-in-law, Elvira Munoz; numerous nieces and nephews, including Anita Barron and her husband, Rito.
