Travis William Himes, 76, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully in his sleep Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013, at his home in Richland Hills. Memorial service: Will be held at a later date at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Travis was born in Fort Worth on April 18, 1937, to Clyde William Himes and Lota Lou French Himes. He served in the Navy, which allowed him to see the world. He was a member of Stockyard Masonic Lodge, Handley Chapter Eastern Star, the Moslah Shrine, Inliners International, Fort Worth Street Rod Association and Haltom City Church of the Nazarene. He was an avid hunter, skeet shooter and old 6-cylinder car guy who would buy an old car just to keep it from being crushed. He retired from Dictaphone, where he worked for 16 years, and then from Lockheed, where he worked for six years. Travis was predeceased in death by his parents and his sister, Louise Melton. Survivors: Wife of 21 years, Linda; daughter, Tonya Adams; sons, Ricky Marshall (Cecelia) and Wayne Marshall; stepson, Shane Revell; grandsons, Jason Marshall, Tim Marshall (Brandi), Matthew Marshall, Kris Crich (Christi) and Cody Adams; granddaughters, Katie Revell and Stephanie Rouleau; and great-grandchildren, Samantha Marshall, Cole Marshall, Bo Marshall, Steven Rouleau and Sarina Rouleau.
