Bill Davis, 82, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013. Funeral: 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10, at University Christian Church. Bill was born Feb. 25, 1931, in Fort Worth. He attended Paschal, was a member of the NOSE Brotherhood at Baylor University and Kappa Alpha at the University of Texas
. He served in the 82nd Airbourne Division during the Korean War
. As a lifelong member of University Christian Church, he ushered from age 17 until this year. He was a longtime member of Moslah Patrol and Cooke-Peavy. For 35 years he was owner of Davis-Kilbourne, an independent brokerage for multiple manufacturers in the building industry. On the West Coast and in the Mid-West and the South, he made numerous friends, all of whom valued his integrity, his straightforward manner and humor. Bill was a true gentleman, selfless, humble, disciplined completely without guile. Survivors: Wife, Jo; daughter, Lee Redmon and husband, Richard, of Carmel, Calif., Jodee Thomas and husband, Anthony, of Sarasota, Fla.; grandson, Cole Thomas of Sarasota, Fla.; and brother, Robert Davis of Midland.
