Thanks a lot, Jack, for that brief period of true mutual enthusiasm for history and historical facts. I really enjoyed our discussions, and observing your discussions with others about what REALLY happened. I know that you had a lot more planned, and that you really wanted to get on with it and take it as far as you could - but life intervened. Now you are able to look at the whole scope and see everything how it really is - I hope you find great enjoyment from that, although I know you also greatly enjoyed the process. Thanks again ... ART

Jack, This is the fiftieth anniversary of JFK's assassination. It won't be the same without you there.
Your tireless work on photography regarding the assassination is a legacy that will continue. I am visualizing you looking down from heaven and ask you to inspire the researchers as they go forward. My prayer is that your family be comforted and that you feel all the love and caring people have for you and that you matter both to history and to me personally. "God" bless this good and faithful servant..
I am including this years memorial rememberance so it can be in your memorial book.
“JFK Memorial”
(To be read at the JFK Lancer Banquet.) (To be read on 11/22/13 in Dallas Texas)
We stand here today,
In reverence,
For a man who died,
And lived for Freedom.
Those of us blessed to be alive Remember,
His Youth, His Vigor, and his Dream…
He breached “The Cold War..”
Signed the “Nuclear Test Ban Treaty,”
And may indeed have saved us from
“The Holocaust”…
Today,
A half a Century later,
We stand Secure…
We must be careful though,
If our only cause to Peace is War…
Please Bow your Head;
“Oh Great Spirit,”
Look down upon this place with
“Justice,” “Mercy,” and “Love”..
Let us not forget “This Great Hero..”
See this Celebration as “Renewal.”
Allow “The Flame Of Camelot,”
To forever mark the cause of Peace “For all Mankind”..
Help us be ‘Peacemakers,”
So that compromise can Light the path for greater understanding…
Save our “Precious Nation” Lord,
To stand United for “the common good “all men deserve…
Most of all ,remind us that
The “Love We Share” can live Forever…

Jack, you continue to ennoble all of us who, in your spirit and tradition, will pay any price to bring about justice in the wake of the murder of John Fitzgerald Kennedy. Please salute my president for me. And give a hug to George Michael, who no doubt already has given you a bear hug of welcome.

R.I.P. Jack you were one of the first people to interest me in the photographic evidence in the JFK assassination. There is no one who can take your place. Good Bless You.

Jack White will be sorely missd--he was a marvelous human being. If we had a few more like him, this country would be on quite a different track. My best wishes to Sue, whose life will now be full only of memories, but wonderful ones, I'm sure. I shall cherish the memory of Jack acting as guide to my two children and me in Dealey Plaza and then lunch at the Hyatt. David Mantik

Jack White was a humble and modest human being who was also a great and honorable man. He was a comrade-in-arms who was willing to slug it out in the trenches, where many fear to go. He was steadfast and unflinching in his support, for which I shall always admire him. Even when we had a divergence in opinions, I always knew that I could count on him again--and again and again! He was like a brother to me--and I felt closer to him than to brothers of my own. I miss him more than words can say already, now, today.

Jack was one of the first to welcome me to the JFK research community. He was always generous with his time and his vast collection. Many times his participation at our conference or forum became a celebrity event as he was so popular around the world. In 1996, Jack was among the first to be awarded the JFK Lancer-Mary Ferrell "New Frontier" Award: "In appreciation for your contribution of new evidence and furthering the study of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy." We were very pleased to recognize Jack who we felt made such an impact on how the history of the assassination will be viewed for all time. God Bless you Jack and my condolences to your family.

Without having known the gentleman personally, I wanted to add my thoughts to these others out of respect for the monumental accomplishments of Jack White in his photo collection and website.
I have been on his website for countless hours and still have not viewed more than a fraction of his lovingly assembled historic shots of Fort Worth "as was".
Mr. White will be missed as we miss Old Fort Worth.

It was always a joy to read about Jack's latest tribute to Fort Worth and TCU. He gave so much of himself, his art and his photos, and he did it with real grace and love. From our TCU days in Journalism to last October's barbeque lunch in his amazing home with Sue. Betty Charles Hammack McCann and Frank Burkett, our friendship was long lasting and precious to me. There simply was no one to compare with Jack White and he will be so missed. Love to you, Sue.
