I have so many fond memories of Mark and Joyce. Mark would often sit in their living room and sing and play guitar...It was the best time. Joyce was the best hostess, cooking up a great meal, we would talk, listen to Mark sing and play, eat, drink, and eat some more!!! Mark had a great sense of humor and I never heard one negative thing out of his mouth, such a sweet caring man. Mark is singing and playing with the Angels....

I do not know how Mark and I lost touch because at one time we were very good friends. Clearly, after reading all the wonderful things everyone has said, it was a huge mistake not to have kept him close. He remained the same sweet, humorous man that I knew.

I am so sorry to hear of Mark's passing. Though I haven't seen him since my days at the Insurance Center, I have never and will never forget him. He was my friend and that says it all.

Mrs. Phillips,
I have so many fond memories of Mark, Junior High, High School, then our first semester in College. Mark met in in the registration office my first hour on campus, then Bruce Fergeson showed up to suggest we all have a BEER! Mark was a wonderful kind man, I'll miss him with all my heart. I have many stories I could share with you, rugby on Saturday's in Alpine, his two or three fights, couple of out of town trips, always with a smile, and happiness in his heart, a true friend. His memory will always remain in my heart and I'll deeply miss my old FRIEND! My prayers for you and your family!

I was very sad to hear this news. Mark was my best friend since 4th Grade. He played right guard and I played right tackle. I am really proud of how you fought that terrible disease. I will miss you. Joyce our prayers are with you. Mike Moore

Joyce, your dedication and pure love filled Mark's heart for over 21 years. I was fortunate to witness that in the hospital after only meeting you once. I honor you both for your years of commitment to each other plus the long fight you endured. Thank you for being my friend's soulmate. He deserved the best.
