Johnny was a joy to me every time I saw him! Whether I saw him in the morning, at our prayer meeting, or, peddling his bicycle through downtown Fort Worth delivering meals for Jimmy John's, just seeing Johnny always made my heart happy, and, put a smile on my face! I knew he was moving, so, I just figured he wasn't able to make it to our morning meeting anymore... I know I missed seeing him when he stopped attending, and, I was heartsick when I heard about his passing. He always went at everything with gusto! He was all-in, with whatever he did- I didn't know anyone's legs could peddle that fast riding a bicycle!!! I don't recall ever seeing Johnny without a smile on his face, always willing to lend a hand if he saw someone needing help. My heart, prayers, and, condolences go out to everyone who has an empty spot in their lives that Johnny used to fill.

Johnny was my ex-brother-in-law. I always felt close to him even after he and my sister divorced. He was stubborn, funny, was never hesitant to express how he felt about something, (anyone who new him knows what I mean), and a loving person. He didn't always let people see the soft side of him. I lost touch with him the last year or so but I always considered him part of my family. He was one of a kind and I will miss him! Johnny, rest in peace!!
