Ruby Ellen Fulton Robnett, 92, passed away Monday, Nov. 14, 2016. Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday, November 19, Burleson Church of Nazarene, 127 SW Thomas St., Burleson, Texas, 76028. Visitation: One hour prior to service. Interment: Shiloh Cemetery, Klondike, Texas. Ruby was born May 2, 1924, to Clarence and Louisa Fulton. She grew up on the farm in east Texas and went to school in Cooper. She married Clifton Robnett on December 24, 1940, and they were married 65 years. Clifton was a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ in the Church of Nazarene. Their pastorates took them to Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, and Illinois before they returned to their beloved Texas where they retired in 1986. Ruby was a homemaker, expert seamstress, and wonderful cook. She loved to entertain and had guests frequently in her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton; her parents; one sister; and five brothers. She is survived by her sons, C. Ray and wife, Lynn, of Bethany, Okla., Don and wife, Jan of Ozark, Mo.; daughter, Sherry and husband, Lyle Burton, of Willow Park; grandchildren, Chrissi Lyles, Randy Robnett, Heather Wilson, Michael Robnett, Jacque Lawson, David Kinney, Steven Burton, and Michael Burton; 13 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
