Alvis Kenneth Harry Obituary
Alvis Kenneth Harry, 78, of North Richland Hills, loving husband, father, granddad and friend, entered his heavenly home Monday, Oct. 14, 2013. Funeral: 11 a.m. Thursday at Shady Grove Baptist Church with Dr. Bill Weaver officiating. Interment: Smithfield Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Park Funeral Services. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Community Hospice of Texas, 6100 Western Place, Suite 105, Fort Worth, Texas 76107. He was born Jan. 26, 1935, to S.M. and Faye Woods Harry in Lamesa. He worked in construction many years and retired from the Birdville Independent School District in 2001. He had a passion for riding, roping, RV camping, fishing, woodworking, going to the mountains, his family, friends, his Lord and Shady Grove Baptist Church. Alvis was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Ancel Harry. Survivors: Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 57 years, Reba Harry; son, Russell Harry and Camille Smith; daughters, Kenda Baxter and her husband, Stephen, Angela Sanchez and her husband, Eddie; granddaughters, Salina Sanchez, Karmen Gillingham, Lorelei Smith, Sierra Sanchez and Wayne Carroll, Selicia and Elvis Skipper and Chelsea and Shaun Bolen.
