I met Dr. Elhmann at a senior's class he was generous enough to teach at TCC. What an amazing, kind and big brained person. Rest in peace Dr. in the "deep time" you so often spoke of. Rocks, meteorites and humans all over the world will miss you.

Dr. Ehlmann was one of my very favorite professors. I learned so much Geology from him and I still share that knowledge with my students. He was a great geologist and a fine person.

Art was so much fun to be around . Especially on our camping or fossil hunting trips. A wealth of knowledge about everything. My boys would talk about the trips for days. Wonderful times. Art will be greatly missed by all. Carol and the family I do miss and love all of you very much.

Art was one of the good guys, and I will always remember his kindness and helpfulness when I wrote a brochure about the Monnig meteorite collection. His reputation preceded him, but I found him every bit as wonderful as people said. My heartfelt condolences to Carol and Claire.

Carol, Claire,Art was a wonder! I always felt welcome when around him. He was obviously an inspiration to many people, not just his students. I know you are greatly saddened by this loss and pray God's comfort will hold you as you adjust to his absence. I love you girls so much! Eulaine McIntosh

Rest in Peace dear friend. I will always remember and appreciate your friendship you extended to me and my late husband Bob Slaydon. One of your first students at TCU where you were his Thesis Advisor.
I'm sure right now you and Bob are in heaven seeing who can remember the most limericks.

From time to time in a person's life, we meet people and get to know them and we ourselves become a better person for knowing them. Art was one of those people for me. He was my graduate adviser and a very dear life long friend. For this, I am and shall forever be profoundly grateful. Dennis Markovchick (78)

Though, I sadly did not have the privilege to meet Dr. Ehlmann, it is truly an honor to work with his daughter, Julia and her family in my job with the USDA. My deepest condolences to the family on this sudden loss. May God and His Almighty angels hold you and your family in the palms of His hands. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you all.
