Although we were only together at major Clay family events, I loved and admired Betty and Bill. She was a special lady and it's a blessing to have known her. I extend my love and prayers to Bill, D'Ann and Mindy and families,--Linda Hightower Robinson

I send you my love and prayers during this sad time. Our families were linked together with Betty and my Mother starting with two little girls and lasting through several generations. These two women were great role models for the four daughters they left behind, Their stories gave us a glimpse of our mothers being little girls and that gave us a connection to them that many daughters never have. I always knew that when "Betty and Bill" were coming over for a visit, that we were going to have a fun day full of laughter. Mother was always at her happiest when Betty was around and those visits are some of the best memories of my childhood and of my adult life as well. My love to you all, Gina Mitchell Davallou

Bill, D'Ann, and Mindy: a piece of my heart is broken with the passing of Betty. I have such wonderful memories of holidays, vacations, and a myriad of family get-togethers. I also will always remember the way Betty and Bill kept Mother so close after Daddy passed away, and their support when Mother was sick and passed away was so strong and complete. I am so grateful to have had all of you in my life. My love and prayers are with you now and always. Love, Glenda Mitchell Ehrle, Jack and Terry Ehrle.
