I loved Coach Sealey. He was my homeroom teacher. He always called me Sunshine all the time. I loved his humor and care for his pupils. He was a great man and will be missed by all.

Coach Sealy was a gentleman and a caring coach for whom we all had great respect. Those of us who played for him carry his investment in us wherever we go. Dan Powell, Wedgwood Class of '69

A true gentleman. He touched a lot of lives and influenced many people. Kind, gruff, caring, stubborn, cranky, fun, loving.....all apply and combine to create a wonderful person who was much loved by everyone he met. I will always miss him, and his continuing concern about me finding a boyfriend. His memory will always be there to bring a tear or a laugh at what he might have said or thought of something. His family can take great comfort in knowing they were much loved. My thoughts, prayers and love are with you all.

Coach, you made a difference in my life! You were a role model for a bunch of us and did so much for us at Monnig Jr. High in the late '50's. I heard your voice many times in my head when I needed guidance on an issue. We loved you, Coach! Hope your family will find some comfort knowing that many students thought of you as a very special wonderful man!

Being a 1965 graduate of the Masonic Home myself, I first got to know C.D. "Wheatie" Sealy through the Masonic Home Ex-students Association. I quickly learned that CD was a vital part of many aspects of Masonery. He can look back and be proud of the work he did here and I'm sure the Supreme Architect will put him right to work.

Coach Sealey, I will always remember and admire you. Not only were you a great coach, but a true role model and friend. You always had a smile on your face and I will never forget the help and direction you gave me. I will always look back at my time spent with you at Poly as a valuable learning experience in my life. May you rest in peace and God comfort your family at this time.
